Can my parts be flow matched for even more performance improvement?
This is a question we often hear at Extrude Hone AFM, and we’re happy to explain to you why this isn’t actually possible. However, we do have a solution that will achieve the same result as this idea of flow matching.
It’s physically impossible to fixture assemble parts, but mating parts can still be easily matched to allow for ideal flow. We accomplish this by matching parts to the gasket so that both parts will have the same dimensions after they are extrude honed.
